After Tite’s Exit, France’s Zinedine Zidane Might Be Brazil’s Next Coach

Former French football ace Zinedine Zidane might end up as coach of the Brazillian side, according to multiple reports.

Tite, the former manager of the Brazilian side, had resigned from his position following the team’s loss to Croatia at the World Cup. This opened the floodgates of potential replacements, with Zinedine Zidane being a prominent potential replacement.

The Frenchman was one of the best players in the game during his active years as a footballer. Since retiring. he has delved into the world of coaching and even superintended over his country’s team.

As a coach, he hasn’t done badly. So it is understandable why the Brazilians have their eyes on him and why he might end up with the manager’s job. Other managers who are being considered for the role include Rafael Benitez, Mauricio Pochettino, and Thomas Tuchel.

Zidane was formerly with Real Madrid but left in May 2021. According to multiple reports, he has been out of work since, the Brazilian coaching position may come just at the right time for him – assuming he isn’t averse to the prospect of working with Brazilians and negotiations sail through.

By the way, he has also been linked to a return to a managerial position on the French team. But nothing is certain yet.
