America’s Got Talent: All Stars aired its penultimate show, and it had many viewers on the edge of their seats. Well. Who wouldn’t be intrigued by a show with such a miscellany of stars?
While all 11 finalists put up a great show and had many viewers hooked, one performance stood out for most, including Simon Cowell, who would comment about the “dangerous” episode much later.
The aerialist Aidan Bryant put up a show that many considered dangerous and even earned the verbal intervention of Cowell. Aidan, 18, was the last to take the stage. He dedicated his performance to his late grandmother, who recently died, and then gave such a wow performance that some members of the audience had their jaws in their hands.
As part of his performance, Aidan flew through the air with a strap hanging from the ceiling, without a safety net. This was precisely why the stunt was considered dangerous.

But Aidan knew his stuff and pulled off a coup of sorts with his performance, earning a thunderous ovation from the judges and the audience alike.
Howie Mandel noted after the performance that Aidan combines such stunning danger with elegance and grace. Others judges, including Cowell, had good words for Aidan as well.
