It’s been a long and tumultuous relationship with fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest, and now AKA has admitted there were some things he should never have done in his tiff with the “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker.
To get an idea of the rappers’ quarrel, one only has to look into the past when, for example, AKA had insulted Cassper Nyovest’s parents. It was a particularly painful moment for Cass and one reason he said he would never forgive his compatriot.
In another instance, AKA had slapped Cassper at a pub. Cass didn’t return the slap, though. According to him, it would have ruined the brand he’d spent years creating. Instead, he challenged AKA to a formal fight — a boxing match — which Kiernan appears to be avoiding.
At any rate, AKA had a reflective moment during a recent appearance on the Sobering Podcast, where he treated several subjects, including his beef with Cassper. He admitted he was out of place swearing at his adversary’s parents while also noting he owes them an apology.
On the possibility of becoming chummy with Cass again, he said that’s not happening. However, it doesn’t mean that he hates his rival. He’s merely moved on with his life.
