The rivalry continues for AKA and Cassper Nyovest over who rules in Apple Music album chart in South Africa.
Cassper Nyovest had taken the number one spot when he released his “Any Minute Now (AMN)” album on 11 September. Soon after, he lost the number one spot.
When AKA announced the imminent release of his “Bhovamania” EP and made it available for preorder, it charged to the number spot almost overnight. The album maintained the spot briefly after release.
AKA boasted online about topping the chart even before releasing his EP. He boasted further about retaining the number one spot. But then he soon lost the spot. Cassper Nyovest was back to number one, and shared a screenshot of his position, boasting that his album will age like fine wine.
It appeared like the album slipped from the position soon after. AKA was gleeful over the album’s drop from the spot and shared a screenshot showing Cass was no longer at the top.
