South African rapper AKA is chuffed with the recent appointment of Benni McCarthy as coach of Manchester United. The songster has never hidden his love for the Old Trafford side, so his effusion of Benni shouldn’t be surprising.
Benni McCarthy, who coached the South African side AmaZulu until early this year, will take on a specialist role at Old Trafford. Following his appointment, he had made his first appearance for the Red Devils during the pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano yesterday, Sunday, July 31.
To show just how pleased he is with Benni McCarthy joining the Man United side, AKA shared a post on Instagram in which he noted that the word “proud” does not do justice to how he feels with Benni joining the United side as a coach.
He also noted it was just “unbelievable” and “unreal” moving from Hannover Park to Old Trafford. Also, in a tweet, he had described Benni as being bigger than Arsenal. You can check out the post below.
Of course, an appointment is never the same thing as winning. It will be interesting to see how Benni McCarthy would perform in his new role at Old Trafford. AN excellent performance would certainly please AKA.
