AKA Celebrates The Success Of His Bhovamania EP

South African rapper AKA is over the moon given the success of his latest project “Bhovamania” EP. This 13-track compilation popped at the top of Apple Music’s album chart in South Africa well before release.

And on release, it maintains the same position. Following on the chart is Nigerian musician Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos,” Mas Musiq’s “Mambisa 2,” and Simmy’s “Tugela fairy (Made Of Stars).”

Prior to the release of the “Bhovamanai” project, a fan had asked AKA to confirm the date of his match with rival and fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest, but AKA shrugged off the question, stating that he had a classic to release at midnight.

It appears he wasn’t just hyping himself but actually has a compilation fans are ready to tag classic as well. AKA is chuffed with his EP still holding the number one spot in South Africa’s Apple music chart days after it was released.

In a recent tweet, he shared news of the EP’s success with his 4.6 million followers, indirectly shading his rival Cassper Nyovest who once occupied the number one spot with his “Any Minute Now (AMN)” album but has since lost the spot.

AKA’s EP isn’t just charting in South Africa but in several other countries as well.
