South African rapper, AKA, has come out to say words that have caught everyone by surprise. The rapper stated that he is a single man. His statement comes after rumours have been flying around about his relationship with DJ Zinhle. The rumours is that the two lovebirds allegedly went their separate ways earlier this year.
While the news had been speculations, AKA spilled the tea while he was being interviewed on MetroFM.
In an interview with DJ Naves and SPHEctacula on MetroFM, the award-winning rapper revealed that he recently went on a holiday and the vacation was the first time in years that he had experienced as a single man.
So yes, the rumours turned out to be true. Our favourite couple, AKA and DJ Zinhle have ended their relationship.
AKA said in his interview:
It’s been a crazy start to the year, I had to go away…I went on a very cold holiday. As people might have noticed it’s my first holiday being a single man for many, many years.
It was a bit different but you know it was a boy’s trip and it was all about just re-centring myself, the energies and just getting myself in the right frame of mind to continue to dominate the radio, the charts and everything else.
AKA also talked about his upcoming Supa Mega #FeesForAllMegaConcert. He did not go into detail about the reason why they split up. So, it would take some time before fans of AKA and DJ Zinhle knows what really transpired between them.
His confession has come weeks after it was rumoured that he has dumped his baby mama. There was even a point where it seemed that DJ Zinhle rubbished the claims. But now, it’s a fact. AKA and DJ Zinhle have gone their separate ways.
DJ Zinhle seemed to have moved forward. This week, the DJ took to social media to address her fans and haters.
DJ Zinhle wrote:
If you’re betting on my ‘unhappiness’, you’re gonna be very disappointed hey. Ngi-right kanjani guys. Tjo! God loves me. Wow!
Use that energy elsewhere because I am too blessed.
Even if her relationship with AKA has ended, the DJ has proven that she is blessed and living her best life.
