CCTV footage has emerged of the moment South African rapper AKA was gunned down while out with friends just outside Wish restaurant in Durban.
In the footage which has since gone viral, the songster could be seen coming out of the restaurant. But before then, just outside, a man could be seen making a call while standing beside a vehicle. It is unclear who the man is or who he was calling at the time.
After AKA came out of the restaurant, he could be seen shaking hands with a pal and then hugging him. In what appears like a scene from a horror flick, an unidentified man had emerged from the side and shot AKA at close range. He collapsed instantly, his skull leaving a bloody memory on the streets.
Virtually everyone with him at the time scampered for safety, including his supposed bodyguards. This has generated a great debate on social media, with no answers in sight.
The CCTV footage of the shooting is way too graphic for many people to watch. It has reduced many social media users to tears and provoked anger in others.
