The rapper, who has been receiving negative vibes from the media due to his split from his celebrity baby mama DJ Zinhle, was thrown into a mourning mood due to the passing of his Grandfather. Although he didn’t reveal cause of death, he said he is grateful for the amount of time he and his daughter, Kairo Forbes spent with his late Grandfather.
AKA has been in the tabloids for dramas in between him and Nigerian Grammy Nominee, Burna boy who he later buried the hatchet with by coming out to congratulate and stating he is still a champion for getting a nomination at the recently concluded Grammy awards. It was amidst this the news of his split from his baby mama, DJ Zinhle was going round, which he later fueled by posting pictures of himself with an unnamed woman and also went ahead to proclaim himself single on Metro FM.
The turmoil seems to not be over for the rapper as he took to his twitter page to share a picture of his Late grandfather and daughter Kairo Forbes to announce that the grandfather is dead, with the caption;
Lost my granpa this morning… Glad Kairo got to spend time with him.
Fans of the rapper reacted to the post by sending him condolence messages. A fan with the user name @iamkay_n tweeted;
