AKA: Ntsiki Mazwai Says She Isn’t Mourning, Warns Those Bringing Slain Rapper To Her Timeline

While South African continue to mourn the late rapper AKA, one person who is clearly not mourning is the poet and anti-GBV advocate Ntsiki Mazwai.

In a recent tweet, the controversial poet shared her thoughts on AKA’s passing, noting that she wasn’t a fan and certainly wouldn’t be mourning him. She wouldn’t want to spend any more time speaking about anything relating to the slain rapper.

She even made it clear that she would block anyone who brings AKA to her timeline. She isn’t against anyone grieving but noted that they should mourn in peace without dragging her into it.

South African Twitter users mostly ignored her rant and ignored her as well. Whereas most of her posts get great traction, what she tweeted about AKA was mostly ignored by South Africans. There was just one comment and 23 “likes” to her tweet at the time of writing. You can check it out below.
