Would AKA stop Burna Boy from coming to South Africa? Can he really stop the Nigerian? A while back, AKA and his Naija counterpart were locked in controversy over music and what some peeps would rather call national interest.
The genesis of their tiff was the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. In protest, the “African Giant” had vowed not to return to South Africa. And AKA had countered that he should as well remain in his country.
Well, things have changed since that heated debate, and now the Nigerian has a show in Mzansi later this year. So far, there’s no evidence he wouldn’t eventually come.
But one AKA fan is determined the Nigerian shouldn’t make it to Mzansi and asked AKA in a tweet to stop the Nigerian from visiting South Africa. Reacting to the tweet, AKA had wondered why he should ever do that. You can check out the tweet below.
Of course, AKA cannot, as an ordinary citizen, stop the Nigerian from visiting. The Nigerian can only be stopped by the authorities if there are sufficient grounds to do so. Right now, of course, there isn’t.
