AKA Speaks On Flopped Reebok Deal & Why He Isn’t Suing The Sportswear Brand

AKA’s deal with Reebook flopped badly and the South African rapper is pretty upset with how things panned out. He had counted his losses and denounced the sportswear giant as some point as “criminals.”

It may have been a while since he called them “criminals,” but he hasn’t gotten over his feelings of hurt. So he raised the topic online once again. According to the “Fela In Versace” rapper, he didn’t receive a single rand from his partnership with Reebook.

Also, he claimed that Reebok is actually using his sneakers (dubbed SneAKA), which he designed himself in their adverts and promotions without giving him credit for it.

Fans have suggested he should take the brand to court and have they pay him his due. But AKA is not keen on a court case. He said he wouldn’t go to court for anything; he merely wanted everyone to know that the Reebok brand is crap and people don’t reckon with it anymore.

Well, what do you think?

By the way, AKA is set to release a new extended play titled “Bhovamania.” The project is already available for preorder on Apple Music and other platforms. Also, it has topped the Apple Music South Africa chart prior to release.
