AKA’s Bodyguard Addresses What Led To His Killing In Durban – Watch

AKA might be dead but the opinion about what happened, what could have happened and how the tragedy could have been averted continues to pour on social media, with his bodyguard Anwar Khan the latest to share his thoughts on the issue.

During a recent sit-down, Anwar Khan, popularly known as Dogg, dwelled on the shooting of AKA and noted that protocol was breached which made the “Fela in Versace” rapper an easy target.

He noted that he was not present on the day of the incident and that if he was, he would have prevented it by coordinating AKA’s movements properly. He insisted that the SupaMega was pretty free with his movements that day which made him an easy target.

He also noted that about 90 per cent of his job had to do with the coordination of the movements of his principal. Sadly, he was not on the ground on the day AKA was assassinated.

The songster died from point-blank shots to the head as he stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. His killers have not been found at the time of writing. He was gearing to release an album at the time he was killed, so the project was released posthumously.
