AKA’s Father Tony Forbes Talks Conspiracies About The Rapper’s Assassination

AKA’s father Tony Forbes has addressed the speculations surrounding his son’s death and the possibility that his friends and those close to him must have been privy to his killing or benefited from it one way or the other.

During a recent interview, he noted that there is no evidence to support the claim that his friends were involved in his assassination. It makes things awkward thinking when there is no evidence to prove that. He would rather people allow the police to do their job of fishing out the rapper’s killers.

AKA was gunned down on February 10 this year moment after he traipsed out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. He had just had a good time in the restaurant and was in the company of his friends and associates when he was killed with a point-blank shot to the head.

Also killed with him was his former manager Tebello Tibz Motsoane. The deaths reverberated across South Africa at the time, with people throwing theories about who must have been involved in the rapper’s killing. There were even speculations at the time that AKA’s DJ Don Design had a hand in the killing.

But as AKA’s father said, the police should be allowed to do their job.
