Don Design is beginning to snap back into reality after the gruesome assassination of his friend AKA. He has just hinted at releasing new music soon, and fans are expectant already.
In a post on his official Instagram page, the songster, who was AKA’s personal DJ had shared slides of him with Da L.E.S and other associates. In the caption to the post, he noted that new music is coming to the speakers of his fans “real soon.”
Because Da L.E.S was part of the photo he shared, it is speculated that the “Gucci Snakes” chanter would be featured in the imminent song. But nothing is set in stone at the moment. At least Don Design gave no definite statement.
Don Design was on the ground on that tragic day on February 10 when AKA was killed with a point-blank shot to the head just outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. Because of his proximity to the crime, some social media users who saw the CCTV footage of the crime scene posited that he betrayed AKA to the assassins.
However, AKA’s mother rubbished that narrative by calling Don Design her son.
