AKA was gunned down alongside his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane as he stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. A point-blank shot to the head silenced the rapper forever, sending a whole nation into mourning.

Lynn had a close relationship with AKA until his death. And although the CCTV footage of his murder is all over the place, she noted that she cannot bring herself to watch it. The details were just too bloody and gruesome.
An investigation into AKA’s death is ongoing, and although some arrested have reportedly been made, the police had come out to deny the same, shattering the hopes of South Africans.
