It may have been more than a month since AKA’s assassination, but many are yet to get over the tragedy of his gruesome murder, including his mother Lynn Forbes.
Her life has not remained the same since her son’s killing, and she has just made this apparent in a recent post on her verified Instagram page. In the post, which showed her face without makeup, she noted that her life has fallen apart, and she feels it.
Amid the struggle, though, her leaning into her grief, self-care, and other factors, including the support of the public, are what gets her through the days. South Africans who saw her post were sympathetic and consoled her in the comment section.
Indeed, Lynn Forbes has been receiving support from members of the public since her son’s killing on February 10. AKA had just stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban, when some hitmen popped out of nowhere, with one of them killing him with point-blank shots to the head.
Also killed along with him was his former manager. Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. The killers have not been found despite several reported arrests. ANd South Africans are miffed that his killers are yet to be found.
