AKA’s & Tibz’s Families Informed Of Arrests Made In Murder Case

Are South Africans about to witness a breakthrough in the murder case of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Mostoane? Well, Mznsi is optimistic.

This optimism is hinged in part on the recent revelation by the police affairs minister Bheki Cele that key arrests have been made, from the coordinator of the whole operation to the observer in the restaurant, right down to the shooters themselves.

Not only have the arrests been made, according to the minister, but the families of Tibz and AKA have been informed of the developments as well. The suspects are expected to appear in court soon.

AKA was murdered alongside Tibz on February 10 last year. He had just stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban when his assailants materialised on the scene and killed him with a point-blank shot to the head. he collapsed in a bloody mess, never again to share the embrace of his girlfriend Nadia, his mother Lynn, and his daughter Kairo.

An investigation was opened into the case soon after. With What the police affairs minister has revealed, it will be interesting to see where the case will lead. Stay tuned if you please.
