Stroke is a serious affliction and many would rather not have it. But life happens and people find themselves contending with it. That was exactly the case with South African singer Lerato Moipone Molapo, who is now famously known as Lira.
The songstress had a stroke a while back and had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. Since then, she had been mostly out of the limelight, recovering, with members of the public occasionally sharing thoughts for her healing.
Well, the songstress has just given an update about her health – her first post of 2023. In a clip on her verified Instagram page, she shared her trip out to somewhere she didn’t mention. In one scene, she is seen clutching her South African passport and in another, she had apparently made it to her destination and was having the time of her life at a resort-like establishment and then a boast. She looked happy.
In the caption to the post, she had given an update about her health, noting that her speech healing is pretty slow. But she is alive and well anyway, and more than happy to be. You can check out the post below.
