Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye is all over the news and for the wrong reasons. Actress Amanda Du-Pont had claimed in a video that he raped her for two years when they were in a relationship. Other women have since come forward, claiming he did the same to them as well.
First to come forward was Masechaba Ndlovu, who claimed that he raped her when they were in a relationship, and she was a virgin at the time. Two other women have come forward with similar claims against the media personality.
A report by SABC News indicated that the women have linked up and taken Jub Jub to court. The attorney representing Amanda Du-Pont had reportedly claimed that Jub Jub had not reached out to them and that it was okay that way, until the start of proceedings.
Mzansi is massively divided over the alleged rape. While some social media users have sided with the ladies accusing Jub Jub, others have sided with the former Moja love presenter.
Initially, when Amanda Du-Pont accused him, he was silent. But then he’s insisted that allegations were false, and even demanded a retraction. He’s yet to get that, and from the look of things, he may not get it.
