Amapiano Producer, Mr JazziQ Drags SA Podcasters To Court Over “Damaging” Allegations

Amapiano producer Mr. Jazziq is furious about the allegations the host of the Everything SA podcast made against him in their rent episode and he’s threatening legal action against them.

In a recent episode of the podcast, host Rea Gopane had claimed that Mr. Jazziq sacrificed his friends Mpura and Killer Kau to better his own career. He claimed the amapiano producer flew to Ghana the day after the two musos died

His co-host Blvck Steph has asked if Mr. Jazziq performed the sacrificial ritual in Ghana. The podcast trended in South Africa immediately, and Mr. Jazziq clearly got wind of it.

He asked them to take down the podcast. He also instituted a case against them, through his lawyers. According to a statement issued by his lawyers, Rea and his co-host toiled with Mr. Jazziq’s emotional and mental health with their podcast. You can check out the statement below.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tumelo Manyoni // Reatlegile Gopane / Everything SA Music TV

It has come to our attention that a video recording which maliciously defames Mr. Tumelo Manyoni. professionally known as Mr. JazziO. has been virally circulated on social media and other mediums of communication.

The recording in question was made by Reatlegile “Rea” Gopane and Blvck Steph during a podcast conversation and was uploaded to their YouTube. Facebook. Instagram and Twitter pages for public consumption.

While we do not know where the heinous allegations levelled against Mr. Manyoni emanate from. we do know the following:

  1. The allegations are void of any form of truth and are harmful:
  2. The facts around Mr. Manyonls conduct and whereabouts. as explained by Mr. Reatlegile Gopane, are worrisomely inaccurate: and
  3. The allegations have had a severe impact on Mr. Manyoni, both emotionally and psychologically.

Mr. Manyoni’s attorneys issued out a Letter of Demand to Mr. Reatlegile Gopane and the hosts of Everything SA Music TV to have the comments publicly withdrawn, an apology granted and the video removed in its entirety from the Everything SA Music TV podcast on all social media platforms.

Regrettably. these demands were not adhered to. leaving Mr. Manyoni with no option but to pursue the matter to finality through the legal remedies available to him.

Mr. Manyoni. who was not only a close friend and brother to the late Mr. Mongezi “Mpura” Stuurman and the late Mr. Sakhile “Killer Kau” Hlatshwayo. would also like to rubbish all unfounded claims made against him in relation to the nature of their relationship.

The matter will now be pursued civilly and criminally.

No further comment will be issued out on this matter until all legal proceedings are concluded.

Mr. Manyoni continues to mourn the life of his beloved friends and requires that the decision not to entertain and discuss this matter any further be respected.

By the way, Mr. Jazziq isn’t the only celeb Rea Gopane has made damaging allegations against. He had previously claimed that businesswoman Bonang Matheba had introduced her ex-lover AKA to drugs. He was forced to apologize but continued taking shots at Bonang.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of Mr. Jazziq’s case will be.
