Tickets for Sjava’s Durban show slated for December this year have sold out. The songster himself shared the news via the official Instagram channel of his newly founded record label, 1020 Cartel.
A laconic “amazing”, followed by praying hands and a red heart emoji, were enough indication the songster was chuffed and impressed with the outcome. Perhaps he wasn’t expecting to sell out the tickets so soon.
Anyway, it turned out South Africans were hungry for what he has to offer, and they rushed it to show just how hungry they were. The said show is slated for the Durban ICC on December 9.
The reactions to him selling out the show have been pretty positive, with many fans stating they can’t wait to see him perform on that day.
With his one-man show, Sjava joins the league of South African artists who are using the same medium to not only promote their brand but to remain musically relevant as well. Other notable voices doing the one-man show thing include Sjava and Makhadzi.
