Durban princess, Thembi Zulu-Ndlovu, has passed away.
Mzansi mourns as Durban princess, sister to the late AmaZulu King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, has died. The news of her passing was confirmed on Friday by her brother, Prince Mbonisi Zulu. He revealed that she passed away at a Newcastle hospital.
The late Princess Thembi Zulu-Ndlovu opposed the soon-to-be coronated King Misuzulu kaZwelithini’s appointment as the new king of the Zulu nation. The last time she was spotted, she attended the King’s traditional wedding in Newcastle last week. It is still unclear the cause of her death.
In his statement, her brother, Prince Mbonisi, also shared that he could not confirm the cause of her passing. He is quoted saying “I can confirm [that she passed away] . I can’t confirm that this is the reason [cause of death] she passed on.” He also shared that “She hasn’t been well for a long time, and she has been in and out of hospital. Princess Thembi succumbed to her death on Friday morning,”
