Popular record label Ambitiouz Entertainment has spoken about their possible reunion with former artist Emtee.
Ambitiouz Entertainment remains one of the most iconic labels in South Africa. The label groomed some of the country’s most prominent artists. Unfortunately, they have lost most of them due to issues with their management.
Emtee is one of many artists who left the label. He has also publicly criticized them for how they worked with him. According to a source for ZiMoja, The Hustla and Ambitiouz are talking about rekindling their working relationship. The source said,
“They are in talks about having him back at the label, but nothing has been concluded. The label is not desperate; they are still staying afloat despite the negative publicity. The talks have been happening, but nothing has been concluded on whether Emtee will be working with them again.”
In a statement, A.E owner Kgosi Mahumapelo said they have a respectful relationship with the rapper behind closed doors. He said, “Emtee is a successful businessman in his own right and claims that he seeks to relive the success or to join hands with the team that was responsible for his highest level of success might not be far-fetched. But since every possible negotiation is protected by confidentiality, we choose neither to deny nor confirm the rumours.”
