American Idol performer Funke Lagoke has spoken out about her recent fall while receiving feedback from the judges.
The songstress had a massive fall when Lionel Richie was giving feedback about her performance, leading to fears she had hurt herself seriously.
Well, the Nigeria-born singer is back on her feet. After the fall and her recovery, she had headed to Instagram where she shared a series of motivational words. In one of them, she had said that we are so much more than our falls.
In another, she had quoted the late American author Maya Angelou: “Still I Rise.”
The support for the songstress following her fall has been pretty massive. Celebs and ordinary folk have been wishing her the best on the American Idol circuit and in her singing career generally.
Nigerian actress Funke Jenifa Akindele even called Funke Lagoke her “Woman Crush Wednesday.” She gave a little of Funke Lagoke’s background while commending her for rising after her fall. She also expressed her love for Funke and what she has done.
