Ami Faku, Boity and more kill the show on Rose Fest 2020.
What better way to empower women than to showcase some of the powerful queens who have defied the odds and risen to the top. If you caught the Rose Fest 2020 event, on Sunday, October 11, then you know how much work was put in to make Mzansi women feel good.
The second edition of the annual event boasted an impressive line up of performers. They included Ami Faku, Boity, Darkie Fiction, Msaki, Busiswa, Holly Rey and Simmy. We are happy to announce that each one of them brought the house down. Of course this was expected.
Shekinah was highly commended for putting on a great show, which had to go digital due to the current state of the country. The event which was organised in partnership with YFM highlighted the strength of the woman. Concerning it, Shekinah said;
“Rosefest culminates in an amazing music experience, however, the journey of Rosefest has been 8 weeks of creating open discussions with women through conversations like body image, anxiety, gender-based violence, the bias in the workplace and deeper discussions that highlight women whilst educating society.”
