South African singer and songwriter, Ami Faku, has revealed that she might start working on a six-track English EP. This English EP will be released as her next project. Ami Faku’s desire to work on this was because of a suggestion made by a social media user.
Recently, a 2017 video of Ami Faku singing surfaced online. A social media user had taken to the comment section to suggest that Ami release an English album or EP. The fan stated that it is challenging to understand the lyrical content of Ami Faku’s debut album titled ‘Imali.’ This is because the fan is a non-isiXhosa-speaking person.
Ami Faku responded to the fan’s comment by revealing that she might work on a six-track EP.

The talented singer, who is the number one most-streamed Mzansi female artists on Deezer in 2019, recently narrated how her 2017’s video made her discovered by El World Wide Music Owner, Sun-El Musician.
The video which she posted on social media in 2017 was what made her to start working with Sun-El Musician. She posted the video before she became known in the South African music industry.
Ami Faku also stated that she would record the song in the studio.
