South African entrepreneur Lekau Sehoanan recently turned 35, and many of his fans and associates celebrated him the way they saw fit. Among those who celebrated him was local rapper Cassper Nyovest.
Indeed Lekau is one man worth celebrating. His life’s canvas shows it all that he is a man whose story would inspire others to pick themselves from the dust – literally – and fight their way to the top.
He was a former drunk and hopeless in every sense of the word. More often than not, he would be found drunk – passed out at the pub or in the streets. Pictures from that ghastly path in his past are still out there.
In fact, he shared two of them himself as part of four pictures showing his life in the past and present. In the caption to that post on Twitter, he had looked back with gratitude, grateful for having overcome the bottle and pivoted into creative enterprises that have made him an important member of society. You can check out his post below.
Turning 35 today and i look back where i come from.
From just a hood drunkard, who’d put 1st Watch into a Johnnie Walker Black, Bottle. Drinking almost every day, isidakwa nje sase Kasi.
To turning my Life around and becoming an important figure in Society.

In celebrating Lekau, Cassper Nyovest has described him as an inspiration. He should know, perhaps. After all the two of them signed an R100 million deal years ago
