Anele Mdoda’s son Alakhe found himself on Mzansi’s trending list after an appearance in Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show featuring Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
Burna Boy had some complaints about Trevor Noah, and Anele Mdoda, commenting about it, joked that she agreed.
For most viewers from South Africa, the major highlight of the interview, though, was Alakhe’s appearance. Trevor Noah, born South African, allowed the kid to have his seat before the interview with the Nigerian singer. At some point, all three — Burna Boy, Alakhe and Trevor Noah — posed for photographs, with the show’s host carrying the kid in his arms.
From the video of the encounter, it was also clear that the kid had taken a liking to the Nigerian singer’s hairstyle, which he pointed to at some point.
