Angry Duncan Rails At Capitec Bank For “Stealing” His Money

Now and then, bank customers complain about banks taking small sums from their accounts for no reason whatsoever. The latest to make such a complaint is the South African rapper Duncan.

In a tweet, the songster accused the Capitec Bank of taking R1,300 from his savings account without permission. He angrily stated he never authorised the transaction and that he was cutting off his business relationship with the bank. He shared the transaction notification he got from the phone.

In response to the tweet, the bank noted that it had read and responded to the rapper’s private message and urged him to check it out when he had the time. The bank would live to resolve the issues via DM. You can check out the response below.

While the bank wanted a private resolution to the issue, some fans who responded to Duncan’s tweet urged the bank to address the problem in the open.

It’s unclear if the issue has been resolved at the time of writing, as Duncan has not made an update since.

By the way, a day before Duncan’s complaint, Cassper Nyovest had tweeted that someone cloned his card and used it for a while before he found out.
