Angry Show Promoter Opens A Case Of Theft Against Zodwa Wabantu

South African dancer and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu has been called out again for not pitching for an event she had been paid for. Angered by her no-show and unable to trace her to recover the booking fee paid to her, an event organizer in Mpumalanga had opened a case of theft against her, according to multiple reports.

This isn’t the first time she had failed to show up after being booked for an event, which explains the current anger against her and why the event organiser had to open a case of theft against her despite her not having stolen anything.

Zodwa Wabantu not showing up for a gig is actually nothing novel in the entertainment industry. Several artists have equally been called out for not pitching after being paid for gigs. It got so pronounced at some point that a concerned musician had to call his fellow entertainers to order, urging them to always show up after booking.

It is unclear what had made Zodwa Wabantu miss her show again, but some tweeps are making light of the situation, noting that her ancestors must be the reason because the dancer recently answered her call as a sangoma or local healer.
