Ebro Darden of Apple Music 1 gave South African rapper and songwriter A-Reece a shout out on Twitter and the rapper’s fans just can’t keep calm
Ebro Darden, a notable DJ, was impressed by A-Reece’s song “Hibachi” and encouraged the Twitteriat to go check it out. In fact, Darden thinks the song ought to be on the playlist of every hip hop nut out there.
This shout out pleased A-Reece’s fans and they stormed the comment section of Darden’s post to hail their hero. Some of his fans think him an ingenious songwriter; some think him a genius outright. You can check out Darden’s post, which got South African screaming in excitement, below.
By the way, about the song, A-Reece said he just wanted to showcase his songwriting abilities. At this, given the storm of approbation that has followed the release of “Hibachi,” one might say he achieved his purpose.
A-Reece, a former Ambitiouz Entertainment artiste, is now an indie. Although he no longer has the backing of a big record label, the songster is doing pretty well solo. Also, although he’s not particularly active on social media, he usually gets the public’s attention whenever he posts something.
