The Zimbabwean High Court has issued an arrest warrant for South African Disc Jockeys Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, also known as Scorpion Kings.
It was a crazy weekend. Imagine kicking off the new week with a new set of drama. That’s what’s up. We hear DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small may be going to jail – in Zimbabwe. The two have caused some trouble there, and it’s come to hunt them.
Entertainment and media influencer Musa Khawula tweeted that the Zimbabwean High Court issued an arrest for Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa with the real names Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe and Petrus Kabelo Motha.
According to reports, the two were scheduled as performers at the Victoria Falls Carnival, which happened in the country, but they did not show up. They also have not issued refunds to the organizers of the carnival. This means that Kabelo and Phori could go to jail if found guilty.
Court documents were released showing their full names, and social media users had a good laugh reacting to them. Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are two of Africa’s most sort after acts. They have been on the road for the majority of the year.
