Arthur “10111” Zwane Takes Over Kaizer Chiefs Head Coach

It’s been a long howl, but Arthur “10111” Zwane has finally gotten the job of head coach at local side Kaizer Chiefs. He was serving as interim coach before snapping the top spot.

While he held the interim spot, he had expressed embarrassment that the club should be looking outside for instant success while he’s right here a d can take the team places. He insisted he would be the right man for the job.

The former Amakhosi striker took over from Stuart Baxter as interim coach and lost his first three matches leading the team. While those losses were embarrassing, he’d insisted he remains the best man for the job and would take the permanent position if given.

Well, the club leadership apparently believes he can lead the team to a place in the sun and has given him the coaching reigns. So it’s now up to Zwane to prove his mettle.

On the reason for the formal appointment, the Chiefs noted that they had seen Zwane’s passion for the game and his willingness to learn. They congratulated him on his appointment while also looking forward to a fruitful working relationship with him.

It will be interesting to see how Zwane will perform on the beat and what direction his relationship with the club will take.
