There’s was one of the biggest fights in Mzansi entertainment. And it appears the tiff between 999 records boss Arthur Mafokate and his estranged girlfriend Cici is not over just yet.
Court documents indicate Arthur Mafokate is claiming Cici is owing his record label R60k, and he wants her to pay back.
The latest request has divided social media denizens, with some calling him petty for wanting to collect such a “small” sum from the singer who recently gave birth.
The latest demand, according to the celebrated kwaito artiste, is part of their agreement. The muso is said to have stated that Cici was supposed to have recorded two albums when she signed with his 999 Records in 2016.
He is praying a Johannesburg high court to grant him access to Cici’s financial records so he can know how much money she has earned and claim the money she owes him. The court has yet to grant his request, and Cici herself is yet to comment on his latest claims. When she does, we will update you accordingly.
