Babes Wodumo Shares Emotional Post While Celebrating Son’s Birthday
Gqom queen Babes Wodumo celebrates her son Sponge’s birthday with a heartfelt message and throwback videos with her late husband, Mampintsha.
Babes Wodumo has been through so much, and Mzansi has watched it all go down. Last year, the Gqom star tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend Mampintsha, and welcomed their first child, a son.
They named the boy Sponge Wodumo and raised him together until Mampintsha passed on in December last year. His death was a shock to us all. Babes raised the beautiful boy by herself, but she also missed her late husband.
Celebrating Sponge’s first birthday, Babes shared photos of the boy and throwback videos and photos of him with her late husband. Mampintsha is seen barbing the boy’s hair and spending time with him. She revealed that his birthday would have been the late Gqom star’s best day even though their birthdays were in the same month.
She also shared that he still recognizes his father’s voice when he hears him in a song. She also assured him that his journey would not be an easy one and he would make it. She also shared that his birthday was an emotional day for her. Read the full post below.
