Gqom queen Babes Wodumo has just explained why she has been must over her nomination for the KwaZulu-Natal Entertainment Awards (KZNEA).
The songstress was nominated in the Best Female Artiste of the Year category. In a recent Instagram post in which she urged her followers to vote for her, she stated that she had been cheated out of the award previously.
Even now, although she has urged her fans to vote for her, she expressed the fear that she might be cheated out of the award again. That nominees are unable to see the behind-the-scenes voting is something that doesn’t sit well with her.
That notwithstanding, she has taken the risk to accept her nomination and urge her fans to vote for her. It remains to be seen is she would carry home the award finally.
By the way, Babes Wodumo is in the process of formalizing her relations with Mampintsha, her boyfriend of many years. According to reports, he would pay her lobola this week.
