Bacardi music pioneer Itumeleng Mosoeu also known as Vusi Ma R5, dies after being shot In Pretoria.
Another day, another tragedy. Mzansi is stunned to hear that the Bacardi music pioneer is dead. Itumeleng Mosoeu, better known as Vusi Ma R5, “ran into an unfortunate incident that led to his untimely passing in the early hours of Monday morning, 30 January,” according to his manager Mothusi Makhwazo.
He also added that the details of the “Tse Nnyane” hitmaker’s death could not be disclosed because it was still being investigated by the police. Mokhwazo said, “The Mosoeu family and Tribal Records management have kindly asked for privacy and respect during this time of grieving and will release a statement in due course.”
He announced that details of the funeral and memorial service would be confirmed soon. Vusi Ma R5’s fatal shooting follows that of DJ Sumbody, who was killed in a drive-by shooting two months ago.
