Fans of some notable South African musicians, including Maglera Doe Boy and Cassper Nyovest can look forward to a heatwave of sorts, as they treat the world of splendid tunes as part of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
The performance schedule sees Maglera Doe Boy perform at the pre-game and Zee Nxumalo taking over for a halftime performance all on Saturday, March 16, 2024. The following day, for the halftime performance, fans will get to see Venom, Shishiliza and Ch’cco live in action.
Already, a fever of anticipation has gripped many across South Africa, as it is just a couple of hours away from the performances by the stars mentioned at the outset and others.
By the way, before the final BAL game, on Sunday at 4 pm, NBA Academy Africa will slug it out with Jozi Nuggets.
It is unclear what criteria were used in the selection of the artists to perform at the BAL game. but a look through the lineup shows some of the most memorable names in South African music at the moment.
