The reunion episode of the reality show Big Brother Naija had many viewers talking as Abel and Maria fiercely traded words.
Maria had implied that Angel was a slur as a clip showed that she had accused Angel of kissing almost all the blokes in the house.
When the clip, which illumines parts of their time in Biggie’s house, was shown, Maria became defensive, stating what she said was her observation of Angel’s actions. However, when Angel directly claimed that Maria called her a slur, she denied it, stating she had never used such a derogatory word.
Incidentally, Angel also accused Maria of doing exactly what she accused her of (except kissing). She said Maria was flirting with Emmanuel and Michael. Maria dismissed that, though, insisting that Emmanuel was the one who flirted with her, and she had to drag him to Liquorose.
Angel rebuked Nini for entertaining the conversation in the clip in which Maria called her, Angel, a slut.
The drama in the reunion episode of the show isn’t at all surprising, as many viewers had expected it all along when the reunion was announced.
About the conflict with Angel, some social media users thought Maria was right in her assessment of the other housemate.
