Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell Others Drop Tributes As Fashion Icon Vivienne Westwood Dies At 81

She came, she saw, she won. But like all mortals, there is a time for departure, and that departure is final. Celebrated British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood is dead. She passed away yesterday, Thursday, December 29, in Clapham, South London. She was 81.

Vivienne was not just a celebrated fashion designer but stood out for her iconic punk style – something she is still being remembered for after her demise.

Until her death, she had worked with some of fashion’s notables, including the supermodel Naomi Campbell, who has been effusive in her thoughts about the late fashion icon. Naomi, for instance, had tripped on one of Vivienne’s runways.

In her tribute, she described the late Vivienne as a force of nature – something her followers easily agree with. Her Instagram post also touched on how she had admired Vivienne from afar. Interestingly, she wasn’t aloof but took Naomi as a friend.

Another celebrated model, Bella Hadid, also had good words to share about Vivienne. She described her as badass, creative and intelligent – a great woman that had walked the face of the earth.

Vivienne’s husband who also happens to be her creative partner, Andreas Kronthaler, was badly hit by her demise but is plodding ahead in faith, noting that he will continue with his late wife in his heart.
