SA Hip Hop’s finest rappers, including Maggz, Blaklez, Phantom Steeze, Okmalumkoolkat, and Sizwe Alakine, feature in the BET Hip Hop Awards 2023 Cypher.
One thing is sure, and it is that the SA Hip Hop scene boasts some of the best rappers in the continent. Mzansi has produced great rappers, including Nasty C, AKA, Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest, Emtee, A-Reece, K.O, YoungstaCpt, and more.
Also, some of our favourite rappers have featured in the BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher and made us proud. This year’s Cypher featured the popular KhoKhoPops Da DJ on the decks as he watched some of the finest rappers take the floor and deliver dope bars for the viewers to enjoy.
According to Slikour, this year’s Cypher features the new and old school cats in the Hip Hop scene. The lineup includes Maggz, Tyson Sybateli, Sizwe Alakine, Blaklez, Okmalumkoolkat, Loatinover Pounds, Money Baddoo, Mochen, Roiii, Sauwcy, Lolli Native, Flow Jones Jnr., and Phantom Steeze.
In our opinion, they each did impressively well, and we can’t even deny that. It was thrilling to see some of the country’s finest emcees do what we love them for on a bigger platform. You can check out the full cypher below.
