Beyoncé, Reba McEntire, Billie Eilish and Finneas Set to Perform Nominated Original Songs at the Oscars this Sunday

It’s another season of good news for Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Finneas, and Reba McEntire, as they have been picked to perform nominated original songs at this year’s Academy Awards.

The Oscar nomination is particularly significant for Beyoncé because it’s her first Oscar nod. The Destiny’s Child oldie was nominated for her song “Be Alive” (from King Richard) and will perform the same at the award. She was nominated alongside her co-writer Dixson.

Sebastián Yatra will also take the stage to perform “Dos Oruguitas” from the Disney flick Encanto.  For the film, the composer Germaine Franco is up for Best Original Score, while Lin-Manuel Miranda is nominated for an Oscar for the song.

“No Time to Die,” the themes song for the Bond movie of the same name, will be performed by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. The film is nominated for Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.

While Beyoncé and the others may not have expressed their excitement about their Oscar nods, their fans have been doing just that. It remains to be seen if she and others will walk home triumphant at the end of the day.

The award takes place later this Sunday (March 27) at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.
