Beyoncé & Tina Knowles-Lawson Celebrate Solange Knowles’ Historic Moment At the New York City Ballet

Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, were more than happy to show up for Solange Knowles, Beyonce’s sister, as she made history on the American ballet scene. Solange became the first Black female composer in the history of the New York City Ballet.

It was, as some fans had noted, her finest hour. And her mother and sister were more than chuffed to be part of that historic moment. Beyonce and Tina had slipped into the front row just before Solange was about to begin her rendition.

She had created an original score to accompany choreographer Gianna Reisen’s “Play Time” for the 10th Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center.

The importance of that moment wasn’t lost on Beyonce, who posted about it on her verified Instagram page. In her post, she paid tribute to her “beloved sister,” whom she described as “one of one,” adding there were no words to describe her admiration for Solange.

Some fans pointed out that she rarely wrote captions. So since she took the trouble to write one to celebrate her sister’s historic moment, then it must mean something, and they believed everything she said there and then.

Well, congratulations are surely in order for Solange Knowles.
