It takes great accomplishment for one to find one’s name in a dictionary, whether in a local or foreign country. Expectedly, not everyone, however famous, will eventually see their names as entries in a dictionary.
Well. American singer Beyonce is one of the exceptions out there. Her name has just made it to the French encyclopedic dictionary Petit Larousse Illustré.
Her name is listed as a proper noun and described as “American singer of R&B and pop.” This makes her one of the very few people with such an honour.
But then, anyone who knows the singer would not be surprised. she has come a long way and arnd her stripes in the entertainment universe. And she is still very much a pop darling, adored by millions out there.
The inclusion of her name is not only symbolic but lifting as well. With that entry, she has seemingly seen her name crafted eternally on the memory of the world.
It is as simple as this, as long as people get to check out the French dictionary, they get to see her and somehow relive her life and contributions to global music long after she has left the earthl plane.
