On the reality show Big Brother Titans, housemate Khosi has revealed that it is considered taboo in South Africa to date a Nigerian man. Khosi, who is currently in a relationship with Nigerian housemate Yemi, shared that this taboo was an issue at the start of her over 3-year relationship with a Nigerian man in South Africa.
When asked for further explanation, Khosi stated that “some things are better left unsaid.” Despite this, Khosi has formed a strong bond with Yemi and even shared a kiss with him on the second day of the show.
Another housemate, Yaya, expressed her desire to visit Nigeria and potentially never return, citing an interest in learning how to cook Nigerian delicacies such as Jollof and pepper soup.
