Big Sean Confronts 2 Chainz Over Claims That He Had The Best Verse On Mercy

Last week, American rapper, 2 Chainz, claimed that he ‘kilt’ everyone on ‘Mercy,’ which is a collaborative hit single by Kanye West. 2 Chainz not only made such declaration about out-rapping Kanye West, he also claimed that he out-rapped Big Sean and Pusha-T, who also featured on the collaborative single.

Big Sean, upon seeing his comments, decided not to let it slide.

While in a recent appearance on ‘The Rap Pack’ podcast, award-winning American rapper, Big Sean, revealed that he did not hesitate to confront 2 Chainz about his declaration.

He said:

I immediately called him like, ‘What the fuck you talkn’ about bro?’ He was like, ‘No, no, I wasn’t talking about you, bro. I was talkn’ about the whole game. Obviously everybody on there was going crazy.’ I’m like, ‘That’s not how it seemed.

Big Sean stated that his verse was so outstanding and well-received that it set the bar for Pusha T, Kanye West, and even 2 Chainz.

He said:

I told him, I was like, ‘N***a, as far as ‘Mercy’ goes, I was the first one doing my verse on the song. Like, it was just the beat and I freestyled my verse. Like, I did it without trying and Kanye was the one who loved it so much.

Big Sean admitted that 2 Chainz did not have an objection.

He further said:

That’s my brother. We was just really kinda kidding around.

Last week, the notable rapper, 2 Chainz, decided to go down the lane by bringing up his eight-year-old track on social media. The talented rapper took to social media to share a meme with featured the cover art for the hit single

He posted it with the question:

Everybody BODIED this track but who had the best verse?

The rapper had an answer for curious minds as he captioned the post:

No disrespect but I kilt all dem boys.

His verse on ‘Mercy’ has been widely acclaimed as one of the best of his musical career.

The hit single ‘Mercy’ became the lead single from Kanye West’s album ‘Cruel Summer.’ The hit song went platinum four times and it got on the number 13 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also reached the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
