Big Star Johnson Details Reasons For Two-Year Hiatus

If you have been wondering why South African musician Big Star Johnson disappeared from the music scene, wonder no more. The songster apparently went on a hiatus. Back after two years, he has revealed why he left.

In a recent interview with The Process, the songster explained that he is still figuring out a lot of things, including being a father. Apparently taking time away from music has given him the time to figure things outs.

Prior to going on hiatus, big Star Johnson had worked with some notable names in South African music, including Hugh Masekela, Kwesta, YoungstaCPT, Zoocci Coke Dope, Jay Claude, and Cassper Nyovest.

Would his return from hiatus translate to more numbers? Big Star Johnson says yes. The songster has promised a third studio album the first quarter of 2021. We’ll be out here watching for anything that might drop from his kitty. It doesn’t look like the songster has lost his old charm. Stay tuned, if you please.
