Inkabi Records boss Big Zulu is not exactly big on music video releases. Instead, his focus appears to be on releasing songs. But now and then, he releases music videos, and they’re usually stuff worth the time. His latest video offering is entitled “Voicemail” and features associates Mduduzi Ncube, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Siya Ntuli and Xowla.
Directed by Slowman, the “Voicemail” video has mellow energy that’s hard to miss. Ordinary, we would have said that the song is crowded with guests. But we wouldn’t say that this time. Lol.
The reason is simple enough. The artists are mutually complementary and did a fine job as a team, although they don’t have an extensive history of working together. So actually, to listen to them is to want to see them together again.
Musos Big Zulu, Mduduzi Ncube, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Siya Ntuli and Xowla know how to keep viewers entertained with a music video. On the strength of their latest offering, we’re for them to work together again.
