Big Zulu has shared some positive words about fellow rapper Emteee during an Instagram live session with his fans. This might not be surprising, perhaps, given how Emtee had reacted to Big Zulu’s diss track, “150 Bars.”
In the said song, the Inkabi Records boss had mentioned Emtee and spoken about his raps struggles, among others. The track irritated Emtee and he responded, asking in a tweet whether chasing clout is the hip hop revival some people have been talking about.
More likely than not, that reaction was among the reasons that forced Big Zulu to go live with his fans and speak about the track again, including those he dissed and failed to diss.
In the live session, the “Imali Eningi” chanter gave Emtee his flowers, noting him as one of the key voices in South African music who did great for Ambitiouz Entertainment, the record label to which he was previously signed, and earned a spot among Mzansi’s notables. Last we check, though, Emtee had not responded to the clip in which Big Zulu saluted his musical contributions.
